FROM 1926 - 2025 (and counting)
The Canadian Legion was founded in 1926, however, the White Rock Legion’s history does not start there.
In fact, we began almost a decade earlier as The Great War Veterans Association, followed by the Canadian Legion then, Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth the 2nd granted Her Assent, thus creating Royal Canadian Legion.
We survived Floods, Fires, the Great Depression and most recently the ‘Plague’ (aka Covid).
Today we stand proud as we continue to support our Veterans, Seniors & Community.
2026 will mark our 100th Anniversary as a proud & thriving Legion!
If you recognize anyone in these photos, we ask that you do NOT identify them by name, to protect and honour those veterans.
The location and time frame will also not be identified, for the same reasons.
